They must be enrolled with the OBC bank and have a mobile phone that is linked to a secure internet connection. How to Add Payee in IOB Net Banking

Follow some steps to add money from IOB net banking

There are two steps to add money from IOB net banking

1) From IOB net banking account

  • Add a beneficiary to your IOB account by following these steps. Once you have added a beneficiary, you will need permission from your primary branch before any transfers can be made. The following are the steps that need to be taken.
  • To access your online banking account, please go to and enter your login ID and password.
  • To access remittances, visit the appropriate section of the IOB online banking homepage.
  • Select “IOB account” from the “add payee” drop-down menu on the left.

Important: Only Indian overseas accounts may be added by selecting the ‘iob account’ option. To add a payee from a different bank, you’ll need to switch to a different payment method. In the next phases, I will explain the process in detail.

  • Please Complete the Form Below. Enter the Beneficiary’s Name and Account Number and then click “Continue.”
  • A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your phone’s registered number when you submit the form. Please confirm the inclusion of Payee by entering their information here. To authorize a Payee, enter the one-time password and click “approve.”

The time required for this procedure is one full business day. Once your transfer has been approved, the funds will be transferred into your account immediately.

2)From IOB to another net banking

Creating an IOB beneficiary is the same as adding an IOB account. The adjustments are few and the process is straightforward. Here’s what you should do:

  • Launch the online banking site and log in using your login ID and password.
  • Go to “Remittances” and then “Add payee.” To continue, choose “other bank account” and then hit the “submit” button.
  • Additional information regarding the Payee (such as their name, address and account type, account number, and the international financial system code (IFSC) of the bank branch where the money will be deposited) must now be entered. When you’re done filling out the form, click the “proceed” button.
  • The payee adding process now requires an OTP entered from the registered cellphone number. Simply choose the “approve payee” option, and the payment will be processed within 24 hours.
